Cajmere-Underground Goodie Mixes

My favorite from this is Green Velvet's 'Conniption' - Thumpin' 4x4 w/ bleepy weird synth progression... Very minimal and clearly made for the Warehouse environment. Reminiscent of early Richie Hawtin. Grimey!

'Feel It' is also impressive; perfect for that prime time when everyone in the place is 'feelin it'. Definitely more on the house tip. Overall great release from Cajual, albeit a bit obscure.

It won't be long before we've wrapped up Cajmere's entire catalog of work! Track A2 - Do Dat Dance - has been a major player within the early Baltimore House/Club scene. I remember hearing that at the Paradox (legendary home of Scott Henry & Feelgood's FEVER parties of the 1990s) back when I was risking life & limb to sneak into the club around 15/16 yrs old. After 12inchJunkies "You Don't Know Me" post I had to go find my 12" of this track. I couldn't find it and had a whole shelf crack me in the head, lol. So, I had to look for my CD single of it which was still wrapped. The CD has the same amount of tracks but 2 tracks more than the 12". Anway, Here's a track that doesn't need no introduction. A huuuuge, huge hit in clubs. A slammin' track that when the start of the song it will surely make everyone aware of it on the dance floor. Produced, remixed and composed by Robin "Jaydee" Albers. I think I was working at a Blockbuster video store when someone popped in this track at the time, lol. I remember hearing this the first time and loved it.
